5D Mark II released

Canon released today their new full frame DSLR camera. The long expected upgrade for 5D is the new Mark II. Key changes introduced are the new 21.1 Megapixel sensor and the capability to record movies in full HD resolution of 1,920x1,080 pixels.

It's getting brighter!

Now Canon's department of marketing are really trying to match Nikon on creating audience for their new launch. Those of you who watched the teaser Canon put on their website could clearly see that it got brighter and brighter by each day. Now you can see the shape better but still cannot see the model designation.
It's only a matter of days until it will be revealed.

Just look at the banner on top of http://www.canon.co.uk/. That's definitely the follower of the old 5D. If it's going to be a Mk II or a 3 or 7 D we will know it soon.
